SSW's Writer in Residence Publishes "Faithful Citizenship"

Faithful CitizenshipGreg Garrett, PhD, writer in residence at Seminary of the Southwest, has published a new book entitled Faithful Citizenship that explores the problems and opportunities facing faithful people as they try to reconcile their faith and public life.

 

Garrett, who is a professor at Baylor University and a licensed lay preacher at St. David's, Austin, is the author of more than a dozen books on religion, culture and politics. He quotes the Rt. Rev. Andy Doyle, Bishop of Texas, throughout the book as he considers how we might create a new, non-partisan paradigm for being Christian and political. The book is available through Amazon here.
