Division of Youth Progams

Grounded in our faith, participation in the sacraments and desire for community, we begin to take action in fulfilling our call. Programs and ministries are developed from these cornerstones.

The Division of Youth offers programs throughout the year for youth of all ages. Diocesan Youth programs include: the Christian Leadership Conference, Diocesan Winter Retreats, Happening and Youth Encounter Spirit. In addition there are various regional and national events that are available to youth. Diocese of Texas Division of Youth events are open to all youth regardless of race, ethnic background, gender, disability or socio-economic status. The Division of Youth provides scholarships for all events and is committed to eliminating financial obstacles that may prevent youth from attending events. Division of youth program information


Happening– Youth in grades 10-12 can participate in this spiritual weekend that takes place four times a year.	Youth Encounter Spirit (Y.E.S.)– Learn more about this spiritual weekend intended for those in grades 7-9.	Christian Leadership Conference– This week-long event held each summer is connects youth through worship, education and fun.	Diocesan Retreats- The diocese offers three winter retreats for youth in grades 4-12.	Regional and National Events- Get the scoop on what is happening in your area, the state and the country inside and outside of the Episcopal Church.
