 The purpose of MissionCentral is to facilitate mission work in the communities that make up the Diocese of Texas. Many youth groups are involved in outreach throughout the year. If your group is involved in hometown missions and would like to share those opportunities with others, please contact Erin McClure at 713-520-6444.
Missionpalooza’s purpose is to pool the resources of the diocese in order to facilitate a summer missions program that can meet the needs Diocese of Texas Episcopal Youth Communities.

Purpose: The purpose of the Missionpalooza Grant Program is to offset the cost of supplies needed for youth mission trips. ALL requirements must be fulfilled and the submission deadline MUST be met in order to receive a Missionpalooza grant.
Requirements: Completed grant application. Copy of mission trip budget with approval from rector or church finance personnel (rector or finance person MUST sign budget for mission trip). Copy of receipts for purchased supplies submitted within one week of trip conclusion. Article and photo about mission trip for publication in the “Texas Episcopalian” submitted within one week of trip conclusion. Applications are due (postmarked by) Monday, May 16, 2011. ALL of these requirements MUST be met in order to receive the grant—no exceptions. The amount of the grant will depend on the number of requests received, but will range between $100-$500. Recipients will be notified of maximum amount of grant by Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Churches will be reimbursed for expenditures (receive grant) AFTER receipts are submitted for purchased supplies.
