The Diocesan Schools Commission was established by Canon to publish Standards for Episcopal Schools, give general supervision to all such schools, and perform such other functions regarding schools as the Bishop may require. In addition to this canonical duty the members of the Commission seek to provide all possible assistance to the parishes
and schools of the Diocese of Texas by offering helpful information and serving as a resource through personal visits and other means of communication. It seeks to increase understanding of our schools’ mission and the Church’s historical commitment to excellence in education within the context of the Christian faith.
