8 CEUs for the Diocese of Texas

The Episcopal Diocese of Texas offers a course for people interested in learning more about ministering to the Hispanic population. The course can be custom designed to meet your needs and questions. Since we bring the program to you, all you have to do is gather the people!


This course will cover:

  •  The Church Year Celebrations
  •  Pastoral Care
  •  Christian Formation
  •  Cultural Engagement
  •  The Importance of Hispanic Missions
  •  Traditions of Funding
  •  Values, Authority and Cultural Diversities
  •  Using Demographics


    This course is designed for Lay and Ordained preparing for mission to Latinos living in the United States. The course does not require Spanish proficiency. There is no language component or instruction in Spanish.


    Course schedule:  It is offered as a 1 1/2 day course (one evening 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., and the next day 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.,) but can be customized to fit your needs.


    Fee: $25 per person. Fee covers the course and lunch on day two. Hispanic Ministry Manual $20 extra per person.
