MISSION

The use of these funds is to support the eight Millenium Development Goals established by the United Nations. This is done by awarding grants to goal-related projects throughout the Anglican Communion.

DESCRIPTION

Through the use of grants up to $30,000, selected MDGs for each year are chosen, and projects throughout the Anglican Communion are funded. Projects are solicited, requests received, and the World Mission Board adjudicates the requests to determine awards.

IMPACT

The grants we awarded over the past year supplied children with anti-parasite meds and vitamins through Honduras Good Works, supported a guest house in South Sudan, the Nets for Life program, and Micro loans with Five Talents International.

GOALS

Our goal for 2013 is to support projects that work to reduce child mortality, achieve universal primary education, and improve maternal health.

HOW FUNDS WILL BE USED

Funds received will be used to support projects that relate to the three areas of the Millenium Development Goals identified in our Goals statement. Grant requests will be reviewed and chosen based on our target goals and accountability assured.
