The Office of Transition Ministry supports the mission of the Diocese of Texas by:

 

• Aiding our diverse congregations to lay the foundations needed to recruit and call leaders who will build healthy missionary congregations.
• Aiding and preparing missionary minded clergy to discover their vocational opportunities within and without the Diocese of Texas.

Compensation for Supply Clergy

The Executive Board approves compensation for licensed supply clergy.  Reimbursement will be as follows:

 

Mileage		$0.565 per mile
Sundays	One Service	$150.00
	Two or More Services	$200.00
Weekdays	Per Service	$75.00

 

 

 

 

 

If a congregation engages a supply clergy then cancels, the clergy person must receive two weeks' notice or the congregation must be prepared to pay for the agreed services and mileage.
