SHARING YOUR STORY OF FAITH ONLINE

SHARING YOUR STORY OF FAITH ONLINE

How has your faith impacted your life? Please join the Episcopal Diocese of Texas for an evening of small group conversations, bringing together members from different Episcopal churches where possible, about faith. The evening will begin with a simple meal in parishioner homes across the diocese. Each of us has our own personal faith story, and sharing our stories deepens our own faith as well as helps others to recognize how God has worked in their lives. On this evening of Sharing Faith, it is our hope that you will experience a deeper understanding of your own faith as a Christian disciple and as an Episcopalian.

We are planning for this special spirit-filled event now!  The design of the evening includes the following minimum number of dinners per parish or mission:

Little Church Club (1-35 ASA in rural area): 1

Family (1-75 ASA): 1-2

Pastoral (76-150 ASA) 3-5

Transitional (151-225 ASA): 5-7

Program (226-450 ASA): 10-12

Resource (451+ ASA): 15+

Each dinner will have a host and moderator and participants, with a maximum of 15 people total.

For Clergy:

Each congregation is being asked to identify a Dinner Coordinator for their church members’ participation. Please inform Gail McGuire in the Diocesan Office of the Dinner Coordinator’s name, email and contact information immediately. Click here to provide this information.

For Dinner Coordinators:

The Sharing Faith Steering Committee is looking for enthusiastic coordinators to help make this event a spirit-filled evening across our diocese. You will be our primary contact with your church to help facilitate the event in your congregation.
