Hurricane Harvey Outreach Opportunities

Volunteers help St. Andrew’s in Pearland rebuild a flooded home.

Thousands of our most vulnerable sisters and brothers are still not back home after Harvey’s devastating flood in August 2017. Many others are living in homes that not yet repaired; most are missing basic home necessities.

2 WAYS YOU CAN HELP

  1. Volunteer to help us restore damaged homes. Experienced and unskilled workers are needed by our churches who are leading this work. Teens accompanied by adults are welcome, too. Learn More
  2. Do your holiday shopping at our online giving market, “Home for the Holidays.” Sponsor a gift that helps a family return home, or sponsor a gift that brings comfort to a child affected by storm-related trauma. Learn More

The mission of our diocesan Harvey Recovery Program is to partner with our churches who are engaging in Hurricane Harvey recovery with their most vulnerable neighbors. Funding is provided through grants from Episcopal Relief & Development and the Diocese of Texas Quinn Foundation. If you would like to know more about this program, contact The Rev. Stacy Stringer or Kecia Mallette at
