Second-Year Curates Complete Final Cohort Session at Camp Allen

Second year curates gathered at Camp Allen on Thursday and Friday, March 5 and 6, for their final session of the Curate Cohort, the Diocese of Texas’ post ordination formation program for newly ordained priests. Since June 2024, the group has met 13 times for peer support, continued learning, and connection with experienced clergy and lay leaders from across the diocese. Learning the Practice of a Holy Exchange From February 2–11, the Diocese of Texas supported a continuing education pilgrimage for clergy in the Peruvian Amazon titled El Cuidado de la Creación. Nine clergy participated, representing the North, East, West, and South regions of our diocese. For ten days, they lived and learned in one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth.
