Churches throughout the Diocese of Texas are preparing commemorative services for the 10th anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001.

Applications are now being accepted for more than 60 scholarships available through the Episcopal Church.

Members of Ascension, Houston, collected more than one ton of beans and rice for West Houston Assistance Ministries to help feed hungry families in West Houston.

Having previously announced the upcoming St. Paul’s Cathedral 300th Anniversary event scheduled for October 25 at the Houston Country Club, organizers have now postponed the event until late February, 2012.

City ArtWorks 2011 Student Art Exhibition "Young Artists (Creative Thinkers)" is on display now through August 31 in Christ Church Cathedral's Cloister Art Gallery, with an opening reception on Sunday, August 7, from 4–6 p.m.
