St. Thomas Episcopal Church
906 George Bush Drive
College Station, Texas

The Rev. Dr. Rhoda Montgomery, Rector

Located across the street from Texas A&M University, St. Thomas is alive with the energy of the Brazos Valley.  The congregation includes many university students, faculty and staff, as well as people who are not directly connected to the University.  The parish will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2013. One of the most vibrant ministries at St. Thomas is the Episcopal College Ministry for Texas A&M and Blinn College. The group offers a coffee shop to students and regularly welcomes both Episcopalians and non-Episcopalians. Additionally, more than a 120 children, 3-K, are enrolled at St. Thomas’ Early Learning Center, a fully-accredited preschool.

St. Thomas is committed to outreach and, in partnership with the Brazos Valley Food Bank, founded a monthly mobile food pantry in September, 2011, and at the same time, supports the Brazos Church Food Pantry, the local chapter of the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, Habitat for Humanity, and the Diocese of Texas mission to seafarers.  St. Thomas is also known throughout the Brazos Valley and the diocese for offering outstanding musical programs and concerts.  Recently, St. Thomas hosted the Houston Chamber Choir and the Texas Early Music Project choir.
