DESCRIPTION:This year’s Eckhardt Mission Series speaker\, the Rev. Dr. Miguel De La Torre\, is a recognized international Fulbright scholar\, celebrated author\, and documentarian. Some of his books include Doing Christian Ethics from the Margins and Decolonizing Christianity.\n \nSaturday\, Feb. 1: Dr. De La Torre will explore what it means to see Jesus through the lens of Immigration and screen a portion of his documentary “Trails of Hope and Terror.” Attendees are invited to join Dr. De La Torre for dinner after his lecture.
