Welcome to a brief overview of Safeguarding God’s Children (SGC). This video is for use as a refresher for current employees and volunteers or as an introduction to the SGC ministry. Remember, to work or volunteer with children at a diocesan church, school, or organization, certification is required as outlined in the Policies for the Protection of Children and Youth. Certification includes screening (interview, application, background check, and references) and training.
