The Denominational Health Plan


The Insurance Task Force reported their recommendations in regards to the creation of a Denominational Health Plan as required by resolution A-177, which was passed at 2009 General Convention. Click here to read the four recommendations for the Diocese of Texas as approved by the Executive Board and Bishop Doyle.



 

2012 Health Savings Account IRS Limits have changed:

 

$3100 for Individual Coverage     
$6250 for Family Coverage
$1000 Catch-Up for those over 55 is unchanged.
Cigna High Deductible amounts will continue to be $2700 for Individual and $5450 for Family

 

The 2012 HSA Funding by the Diocese for clergy and staff has changed. All open accounts received one quarter of their funding in January 2012. The remaining funding will be sent over a ten month period. The family coverage monthly funding will be $327.00 and the monthly funding for single coverage will be $162.00.
