What do you need to think about BEFORE disaster strikes?

Individuals & Family Emergency Planning

For Regions affected by Hurricanes

For Homeowners: Mitigation

  • GUTTERS. Keep your gutters clear of leaves which can clog during heavy rain.
  • ROOF. Visually inspect your roof for loose shingles or sagging which may indicate a need for repairs.
  • ROOF. From inside the attic, check for wet spots or mildew which may indicate a need for roof repairs.
  • TREES. Strong winds can damage trees which in turn can damage what they fall on. Trimming internal branches of the tree helps tree permits more openings for wind to pass through. This can make trees less likely to lose limbs or blow over during a wind storm.
