Pilot Program – Spring 2018
Hosted by Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, Waco with support from Episcopal Health Foundation, The Diocese of Texas and Seminary of the Southwest.
A Faith Community Nurse (FCN), serves within a faith community to help meet the mental, emotional, physical, social and spiritual needs of the members, as well as serving within the larger community. FCNs work with the congregation to establish and sustain a health ministry program. Faith Community Nursing is a specialty professional nursing practice recognized by the American Nurses Association.
