The Episcopal Diocese of Texas celebrates the 16 graduates of the Iona School for Ministry Class of 2026, who were recognized during a joyful and spirit-filled service on June 7 at Camp Allen.
Representing both the Certificate in Theological Studies program and the first Spanish Certificate in Lay Preaching cohort, these graduatesโ dedication reflects a deep commitment to serving their congregations and communities across Texas and beyond.
The service was led by Bishopย Kai Ryan, who presided at the Holy Eucharist and offered words of encouragement to the graduates.
Reflecting on the significance of the day, Bishop Doyle shared:
“The work of this place has spread throughout the church as the Iona Collaborative has grown. Part of the success of the Iona School for Ministry is because of the leadership of its graduates and the fruit of ministry in communities across the country. You are part of a strong tradition of mission and that will help shape the future of the Church.”
Bishop Doyle also expressed gratitude for the graduates’ faithful response to God’s call, the sacrifices made by their families, and the countless hours devoted to study and formation.
As they begin this next chapter of ministry, we give thanks for their witness, perseverance, and commitment to sharing the Gospel.
Congratulations to all the graduates:
