This year marks a significant milestone for the Episcopal Student Center at the University of Texas and All Saints’ Episcopal Church: 125 years of Episcopalians at UT (University of Texas). In celebration of this anniversary, the community has embraced a refreshed identity.
The ministry has adopted the name “Canterbury”, a title familiar to Episcopal campus ministries across the country. Over the decades, the community has carried many names, including the All-Saints’ Sunday Club, the UT Canterbury Club, the Austin Canterbury Association, Canterbury Longhorns, and most recently, the Episcopal Student Center.
Though the name may change, the mission remains the same. Canterbury at UT continues to offer a place of belief, belonging, and belovedness, nurturing generations of students in faith and community.
Students and friends are invited to explore the new look and pick up a Canterbury t-shirt when returning to campus.
