As Episcopalians gather in Baltimore for the 80th General Convention, racial healing tops the agenda. The Episcopal Diocese of Texas has served as a trailblazer in this work over the last two and half years. In February 2020, the Bishop of Texas discussed the culmination of years of planning in this area.

At the 172nd Diocesan Council, the Racial Justice Initiative was announced. $13M was committed to fund racial reconciliation scholarships and projects.
