EarthRise Dedication and Ribbon Cutting

St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church in Nassau Bay, in conjunction with the Talbot Fund for Racial Reconciliation and the Episcopal Diocese of Texas, is proud to unveil EarthRise: a public art monument highlighting the contributions of people of color and women to the space program throughout the decades. 

We will dedicate, bless, and cut the ribbon for EarthRise on August 16 at 11.15 am with the Rt. Rev. Andy Doyle, Bishop of Texas, MajGen Charlie Bolden, Mayor of Nassau Bay Phil Johnson, and County Commissioner Adrian Garcia in attendance, to be followed by a luncheon with shirts and die cut stickers of the monument available for those in attendance.
