Located in Huntsville, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church celebrated a Spirit-filled weekend as Bishop Jeff W. Fisher baptized, confirmed, received, and witnessed the reaffirmation of faith of 14 people.
The day before, four young people from the newly formed Kiswahili worshipping community at St. Stephen’s were baptized by full immersion. The Rev. Dr. Joseph Gatungu, Vicar of the Kiswahili community, presided at the baptisms, marking a joyful and historic moment for the parish.
Through the following video, the community rejoiced in witnessing one of the baptisms by immersion. Together, both services highlighted the growth of faith and the deepening bonds of community at St. Stephen’s.
