Join Christ Church Cathedral for the Houston Pride Festival and Parade – Saturday Afternoon, June 28, 2025

The Justice and Peace Council of Christ Church Cathedral invites you to a joyful afternoon of community, faith, and celebration of Pride.

In our commitment to justice and inclusion, At the Episcopal Dioceses of Texas we affirm the inherent dignity of every person. Our Baptismal Covenant calls us to “seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself” and to “strive for justice and peace among all people.”

In alignment with these commitments, the 80th General Convention in 2022 passed Resolution D066, advocating for access to gender-affirming care at all ages and supporting policies that protect transgender and non-binary individuals from discrimination.

Our Bishop Andrew Doyle has emphasized that “All people are welcome in churches of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas without fear—we offer only love.”

To celebrate and support our LGBTQ+ members, we offer tools designed to help congregations and individuals to express their commitment to inclusion and love.
