With more than 2,500 views, the second season of Friday Reflections launched on Friday, February 6, reaffirming this weekly series as a meaningful space for connection, faith, and shared stories across the diocese of Texas.
The season opened with a reflection from Bishop Brian Seage, Assisting Bishop for the North Region of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas. In his message, Bishop Seage was invited to share a moment when he encountered the miraculous in his life, and he did so through a story rooted in the everyday faithfulness of the Church.
Bishop Seage described how a small, faithful group from several congregations chose to come together not to focus on what had been lost, but on how they could continue being the Body of Christ in their community. From that gathering emerged the Four Saints Food Pantry, a ministry that began humbly and today provides food for more than 5,000 people each month. For Bishop Seage, this ongoing commitment to feed every neighbor who shows up is nothing short of a miracle.
Friday Reflections invites us to pause each week and listen for how God is moving through our people and shared ministry. Stay connected to experience the reflections we will continue to share week after week.
