For decades, St. Vincent’s House has been a beacon of hope in Galveston County, helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most difficult challenges.

From housing and food assistance to transportation, health care, and employment support, the organization provides more than 50,000 services each year and reaches over 19,000 households across the community.
In recognition of its extraordinary impact, St. Vincent’s House has been named the 2026 Nonprofit of the Year by the Galveston County Daily News.
