Calvary Richmond Supports the Jenna Burgess Trust

On Rally Day at Calvary Episcopal Church, Richmond, the faithful stitchers of St. Clare’s Needlepoint Guild turned their craft into compassion. Members sold hand-stitched needlepoint ornaments, raising funds for a $3,000 donation to the Jenna Burgess Trust.

Jenna, the granddaughter of parishioner Donna Anderson, suffered unimaginable loss when her family perished in the July 4th flood. She is now beginning a new chapter of life with her uncle, aunt, and cousins.

Calvary’s generosity reflects the church’s deep commitment to being the body of Christ in times of joy and in times of sorrow. Through prayer, fellowship, and tangible acts of love, the parish came together to support Jenna and to remind her that she is surrounded by a community of care.
