On Saturday, June 27, the Episcopal Diocese of Texas celebrated the ordination of nine new deacons at Good Shepherd in Austin. Surrounded by a joyful congregation, heartfelt prayers, and the support of family, friends, and clergy, these faithful servants were ordained to continue their ministry throughout the diocese.
The service featured an inspiring sermon by the Rt. Rev. Andrew C. Doyle, who encouraged the newly ordained deacons as they begin this new chapter of servant leadership in the Church.
