CALL TO FEED THE HUNGRY SUNDAY
Every day, millions of Texans rely on food assistance programs to help feed their families. As people of faith, we are called not only to care for our neighbors, but also to support the systems that help them thrive.
On August 2, you are invited to join congregations across Texas for a special Sunday with a shared purpose: a future where no family in Texas has to wonder where their next meal will come from. Faith communities can’t meet this need alone — charitable groups feed about 10% of hungry Texans; SNAP feeds the remaining 90% of hungry Texans.
We are signing up Texans who say SNAP is essential to make sure people are fed today.
