After a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the 29th Annual Diocesan Music Camp took place May 31-June 5, bringing young musicians in rising Grades 6-12 together. The music camp took place in Clear Lake City.
The campers were housed in the UH-Clear Lake dormitory, and rehearsals, while meals and the closing service were held at St. Thomas the Apostle, Nassau Bay. Campers rotated among Choral, Handbell and String or Vocal sessions. Thanks to funding from the Gilbert and Thyra Plass Arts Foundation, tuition was free this year. Young musicians in grades 6-12 will be eligible for next year’s camp. For more information, contact Dr. Linda Patterson.
