Pre-schoolers through 4th graders at All Saints Episcopal school had their spring planting day on Tuesday.
The All Saints learning farm has 20 plots with a variety of vegetables, herbs, and a chicken coop with 16 chickens.

When Russia invaded Ukraine just before the start of Lent, many Episcopalians began praying for the Ukrainian people. The attacks prompted Dontie Fuller, who was already scheduled to teach the art of pysanka – Ukrainian Easter egg decorating – at Church of the Nativity in Indianapolis, Indiana, to amend her informational event to educate attendees about the attacks and to use the ancient art to offer hands-on prayer for Ukraine.
A new national study, Jesus in America, was released today in a partnership between The Episcopal Church and Ipsos. The research found that while the majority of Americans polled believe Jesus was an important spiritual figure and want equality in society, it also showed Christians are not necessarily practicing what Jesus taught, and Americans feel judged when talking about their beliefs.
Christ Church Cathedral Episcopal Church in downtown Houston is dedicating their 11 a.m. service this Sunday toward peace and solidarity with the people of Ukraine. The Cathedral will have a special offering to support Ukrainian relief efforts during this service, which will include Holy Eucharist and special music. Instead of purple stoles reflecting the liturgical season of Lent, Cathedral priests will wear blue regalia in solidarity and support. Sunflowers, a Ukranian symbol for peace, will be placed on the altar.

Among the groups with a presence at this year’s General Convention will be a new self-organized caucus of LGBTQ+ members of the House of Deputies. The group of over 100 members is working in small groups as the July 7-14 convention scheduled to take place in person in Baltimore, Maryland, approaches, identifying priorities and developing potential resolutions that could advance the cause of LGBTQ+ inclusion across the church.
