Second year curates gathered at Camp Allen on Thursday and Friday, March 5 and 6, for their final session of the Curate Cohort, the Diocese of Texas’ post ordination formation program for newly ordained priests. Since June 2024, the group has met 13 times for peer support, continued learning, and connection with experienced clergy and lay leaders from across the diocese. The Sealy Christian Pantry has been named the 2026 Pantry of the Year by the Houston Food Bank, recognizing its outstanding commitment to serving neighbors facing food insecurity in the Sealy community. Learning the Practice of a Holy Exchange From February 2–11, the Diocese of Texas supported a continuing education pilgrimage for clergy in the Peruvian Amazon titled El Cuidado de la Creación. Nine clergy participated, representing the North, East, West, and South regions of our diocese. For ten days, they lived and learned in one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth.
