By the waters of Babylon, we sat down and wept. Today, my heart is heavy with grief for the children, families, and community devastated by the shooting at a Catholic school in Minnesota. St. Stephen’s Celebrates Baptisms, Confirmations, and Reaffirmations of Faith

Located in Huntsville, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church celebrated a Spirit-filled weekend as Bishop Jeff W. Fisher baptized, confirmed, received, and witnessed the reaffirmation of faith of 14 people. The day before, four young people from the newly formed Kiswahili worshipping community at St. Stephen’s were baptized by full immersion. The Rev. Dr. Joseph Gatungu, Vicar of the Kiswahili community, presided at the baptisms, marking a joyful and historic moment for the parish. St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Lampasas began in 1873, when the Rt. Rev. Alexander Gregg, first Bishop of Texas, licensed Dr. Thomas S.
